Peel-scape has a new name:

New Name. New Packaging. Same Great Product.
How it all started
In
July of 2000, Pierce E. Marks, III and Dr. David
H. Gibbs developed the concept which launched
Peel-Scape Partners. Both avid hunters, the two
were looking for a simpler, convenient means
of applying facial camouflage. Further study
indicated that there were better methods to achieve
similar results such as using printable adhesives.
At this point a patent search was conducted with
the outcome revealing that no such product existed
using the concept they envisioned. In May of
2002, Peel-Scape Partners received Patent Pending
on their invention.
In July of 2002, the partners, knowing that
they were looking for a printable adhesive tape
product to use as their material, gave a presentation
to top management of 3M Corporation detailing
their invention. In subsequent months, Peel-Scape
Partners and 3M Medical Division decided upon
the use of a Medical Surgical Tape that had all
the characteristics the team was looking for. The tape was hypoallergenic,
conformable, fluid resistant, printable, thinly
textured, and most importantly, breathable.
In September of 2003, 3M introduced Peel-Scape
Partners to American Digital Communications,
an Atlanta-based company. With the technical
and corporate support of 3M, ADC converts the
Medical Surgical Tape into the finished product
for Peel-Scape Partners, LLC.
With the help of 3M Medical Specialties, American
Digital Communications, camouflage giants Realtree,
Mossy Oak, Natural Gear, King's Outdoor World,
and Montanta Camo, Peel-Scape Partners, LLC has
formed a team to manufacture this revolutionary
new method of facial camouflage. Utilizing die-cut
patterns of 3M Medical Surgical Tape shaped to
the countours of the face and printed in the
most widely used camouflage patterns, Peel-Scape
Partners has truly changed the face of camouflage.
On October 14, 2003, Peel-Scape Partners, LLC
was issued United States Patent No. 6,632,499.
